Michigan Lawyers Weekly, the state’s leading publication focusing on news related to the legal profession, has recently announced its first edition of the “Michigan Legal 250.” According to the publication, this list recognizes the most “influential and accomplished attorneys across the state’s legal landscape.”
We are honored to announce that Daniel T. Geherin of Geherin Law Group, PLLC, was included in that list. Incredibly, Dan is one of just six criminal defense attorneys named in the Michigan Legal 250 for 2026, making this recognition even more impressive and unique.
The list began with nominations from the public. From there, MLW’s editors spent months carefully evaluating each nominee. They researched the quality of each candidate’s work in their particular legal field, as well as their overall contributions to that field and the community in general. Do they make a real difference for their clients, peers, and the public?
Without question, Dan was selected based on his success as a trial lawyer, his Firm’s commitment to their clients, and his involvement with local and national bar associations, including his past term as president of the Washtenaw County Bar Association’s Criminal Law Section.
