According to the publication, this list named the “most influential and accomplished attorneys in Michigan.” Impressively, Dan was one of only six criminal defense attorneys from across the state who were included.
Michigan Lawyers Weekly is the state’s leading publication covering the legal profession. This is the first year it has released its Michigan Legal 250 list honoring those who provide elite representation for their clients and otherwise elevate the state’s legal system. MLW’s editors carefully investigated each publicly-nominated candidate’s accomplishments and credentials.
Dan Geherin was selected for his years of successful work defending his clients in and out of the courtroom. He and the rest of our Firm always put the client’s needs first and have achieved results in some of the toughest cases, including homicide, sexual crimes, drunk driving and serious felony and misdemeanor charges. Dan’s involvement in local and national bar associations were also a factor, such as his past term serving as president of the Washtenaw County Bar Association’s Criminal Law Section.
While Dan and the rest of our attorney team do not seek out individual awards, it is a wonderful honor for him to be named amongst the best lawyers across Michigan.
