Man accused of drugging woman with 'killer margarita' to stand trial in August

A trial date was set Monday for Kip Wilson, 46, who has been accused of drugging a woman's drink and then sexually assaulting her.

Unless he chooses to plead guilty or no contest to the charge, Wilson will stand trial August 10 in front of Washtenaw County Circuit Court Judge David Swartz for one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct, incapacitated victim. The final pre-trial hearing is scheduled for July 13 at 1:30 p.m.

The charge stems from a July 2012 incident when, according to earlier testimony, Wilson made a woman what he called a "killer margarita" and she woke up later in his bed with no memory of what happened. Read more:
