Jury deliberating in Ann Arbor teacher's 'killer margarita' sex assault trial

Jurors were sent to deliberate about 12:30 p.m.Wednesday in the case against an Ann Arbor teacher accused of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman he met on Match.com in 2012.

Kip Wilson, 47, of Ypsilanti is charged with third degree criminal sexual conduct, a felony, punishable by up to 15 years in prison.

The deliberation on Oct. 7 comes after more two days of trial, with all but one expert testifying on Tuesday.

Both Assistant Washtenaw County Prosecuting Attorney Dianna Collins and defense attorney Joe Simon cited the woman's story, text messages and DNA evidence as key elements of their case in their closing arguments.
