Ex-University of Michigan student arrested in sex assaults after return to U.S.

ANN ARBOR, MI - A former University of Michigan student in the ROTC program was arrested on sex assault charges Tuesday, Aug. 15 when he returned from Taiwan to the Detroit Metropolitan Airport.

Jimmy H. Nguyen, 36, was arraigned Wednesday in two cases on three counts of criminal sexual conduct related to sexual assaults reported off-campus while he was a student in 2012 and 2013.
